Thinking About the World Through Nonfiction

We are at a time when being able to read different forms of writing is imperative. We sign health consent forms and auto loans that we don't fully understand. We find it easier to believe influencers than the scientific findings shared by scientists. We are exposed to people throwing information at us every day, and we have to navigate what it all means.

I designed these units because I want to make sure our children can read nonfiction, but more importantly, I want them to be prepared for the world they are growing up in.
